Spicy Beet Pizza Appetizer Recipe
Here's a fusion version of pizza made with spicy beets. The pizza dough is baked separately then topped with Indian beets and dal. It's perfect for vegetarians since it's packed with protein.
I usually serve them as appetizers. They would also be a great addition to a party platter because of the pop of color and exotic flavors.

Vegetarian Calzone Recipe (Pizza Pocket)
My husband Lulu worked from home today, so I improvised a little lunch for him. I made little pizza pockets filled with béchamel-coated vegetarian beef strips. I used store-bought whole wheat pizza dough, I already had béchamel sauce made and I added leeks and onions to the filling.
I paired the calzone with tomato soup. Lulu was on a phone call when I brought him lunch but he gave me two thumbs up after finishing his tray of food!

Southwest BBQ Chicken Pizza Recipe
Two weeks ago, I helped the California Lavash team shoot photos of their new line of products. We spent two days cooking, chatting, foodstyling, taking photos and of course, eating. It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun as well.
Here's one of my favorite dishes from the shoot: Southwestern chicken pizza. It takes no more than 15 minutes to prepare and it is oh, so good. All you need is delicious California Lavash naan, BBQ sauce, roasted chicken, corn salad, onions and a blend of Monterey Jack cheese and cheddar cheese. I replicated the same pizza for the vegetarians in my family by substituting black beans for the chicken. It's that easy!

Light Pizza Recipe
Here's a pizza that's not only delicious, but will take you no more than 10 minutes tops to prepare. I used California Pizza Lavash bread and topped it with colorful elements: turkey bacon and a bit of feta cheese for the base, covered with yellow bell pepper, freshly cut juicy tomatoes, arugula and a drizzle of balsamic syrup.
You can't beat that. Moreover, it's quite healthy (just make sure to control the portions of bacon and cheese).

Indian Pizza Recipe: Tomato Chutney Pizza
Since I had my daughter, I haven't had a lot of time to cook so I got some ready-made pizza dough from Trader Joe's. instead of using regular tomato sauce I used indian tomato chutney to make the dish more flavorful. I topped it with fried paneer, smoked goat cheddar cheese, mozzarella and parmesan. This is not your average four-cheese pizza!
