Hasselback Potatoes with Sauce Verte
Hasselback potatoes are a Swedish variation on roasted potatoes. The potatoes have a crispy outer skin with a delicious, soft inside. The cooking technique isn't different from common baked potatoes, except these potatoes are thinly sliced into an accordion shape. A blend of butter, extra-virgin olive oil, and garlic creates a crunchy outer crust that is perfectly seasoned. Once the potatoes are roasted, they fan out, but the bottom remains attached. The presentation may be fancy, but really, this dish isn't complicated at all.
