Pommes Duchesse Fourrees au Fromage

The name may sound fancy, but pommes duchesse are simply baked mashed potato balls. They're crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, and ooze delightful goodness. Not only are they a perfect dish for formal events, but they dress down as well. If not fancily piped, they're named "baroness potatoes" instead (in reference to a lower rank of nobility).
