The flavors of this dish are drawn from the dry-roasted jasmine powder, thinly shredded fried potatoes, taro root, jicama, and onions. The whole mixture is topped with common Vietnamese salad elements, such as pickled carrots, daikon radish, chilies, Vietnamese herbs, and shrimp.
