Cooking Something Special for Mother's Day Celebration
Mother's Day is quickly approaching. The girls are very excited and are planning an elaborate celebration for their mommy. One of the girls is handcrafting a vase. Lulu is in charge of the flowers. He often gives red roses to my mother-in-law, which she adores. Our little 5-year-old munchkin wrote a letter with her adorable handwriting. Here's what she wrote:
"I love you, Mommy. You are so special, thank you for taking care of me. You are the best mom in the [w]hole wide world." She showed it to me to ask if Mommy would like it. I was like: "Aww, munchkin, it's adorable! I'm sure Mommy will love it."
And finally, Sunny (the eldest one, who's 14) asked me to help her plan out the celebration dinner. I’ve gone through the recipes I’ve published so far and put together a list in case you’re looking for inspiration as well. The recipes are separated by type, from breakfast ideas to appetizers, savory sides and meat dishes as well as elegant desserts.
Remember, no matter what you do, whether it's a last minute DIY Mother's Day gifts or something you buy, the mom(s) in your life will be ecstatic because it's the intention that really counts.
