Family friends from Hyderabad (India) came to visit us last weekend. They brought with them delicious specialties from Lulu's father's hometown. They're called "fruit biscuits". The texture is crumbly, just like a shortbread cookie, with a strong rose flavor and a variety of dried fruits.

We've been enjoying them in the morning with a hot cup of masala chai. Sam Uncle and Ashish Auntie, thank you so much for introducing us to this wonderful treat! Hope you had a great time in Las Vegas.

I don't know when you can buy these in America but as soon as I find out, I'll post the info.
