Have a Happy Halloween!
As I told you yesterday, my youngest sister-in-law had a wonderful time at her school Halloween party on Friday. They played a lot of fun games. For example, the children wrapped each other with toilet paper to turn themselves into mummies. Spooky! They also ate a lot of creepy, crawly-looking sweet treats. I think if there were a costume contest, the principal of the school would have won it hands down with her Queen of Hearts disguise. I love the Alice in Wonderland theme; it was an absolute genius idea!
One scary mummy!
My little munchkin decided to be a puppy this year.
Yesterday, we spent the entire day with the girls. In the morning, we bought tons and tons of chocolate and candies. In the evening, we baked blondies with pumpkin cream cheese frosting. We made the exact same recipe last year, and the girls loved them so much we had to repeat it this year again.
The end is finally here. It's almost time for me to take the girls around the neighborhood to collect an unhealthy amount of sugary treats. I enjoy the gourmet treats that I've made for Halloween, but it's also fun to pick through their goodie bags while they're sleeping. Shhh... What they don't know (or eat), can't hurt them.
Have a lovely Halloween weekend!
