Macarons from Ladurée

Macarons from Ladurée Recipe

I know, I know. At the beginning of 2010, I made a resolution to make my own macarons and share them with you. Alas, I was a bit of a chicken, and never really tried.

Luckily since I'm in Paris right now, I can stop by just about any bakery and get a batch of these delicate little goodies. These particular ones are from the famous Parisian pâtisserie, Ladurée. As 2011 is only a day away, this is about the best I can do. In case you're wondering, the flavors of the macarons you see in the picture are pistachio, rose and ginger, licorice and orange blossom.
