Gluten Free Chocolate Almond Bites with Butterscotch Frosting Recipe

These mini-cakes are dense and similar in texture to a brownie.  I use almond flour which I make myself as a substitute for ap flour.  One of my husband's close friends is allergic to gluten, so I always make this when she visits.

The cakes are ideal for chocolate addicts. The small sized bites make your guests feel less guilty, but will also have everyone coming back for seconds.

Rau Cau (Coconut, Mocha, Pandan flavored Vietnamese Jello Cake) Recipe

Rau câu is a Vietnamese jello cake that is made out of agar agar, which is a seaweed by product similar to gelatin. It's made out of coconut milk, condensed milk and layers of your favorite flavorings like mocha, vanilla, coconut, banana, chocolate and durian (if you're adventurous!).. It has the same texture of pana cotta. 

It's a great alternative for vegetarians who do not want to use animal (usually pork) gelatin in desserts.

Chocolate filled Sticky Rice Balls with Coconut Recipe

I made some coconut flavored sticky rice balls but instead of making the traditional split mung bean filling, I stuffed the dumplings with chocolate. I steamed them then rolled them in freshly grated coconut. They're delicious and cholesterol free.

OK, raise your hand if you are a chocolate lover. I am . Seriously, who does not love chocolate?

Valentine's day is on its way and you guys know the saying "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach!" Here's a suggestion for a nice dessert.

Wouldn't it be romantic feeding each other ginger chocolate mousse? Ginger is natural libido enhancer, so go for it! Well, my hubby loves this decadent dessert.
